Kick off!
The project SEABIRD HARVEST in the North Atlantic is now a reality. Although the necessary funding is not in place the project is now officially “live”. First activity within the frames of the project was to follow locals at the Faroe Island Skuvoy and Sandoy in May 2014 as they rappelled down the steep cliffs to collect eggs from the northern fulmar. Researcher and photographer Carsten Egevang followed the climbers down the steep cliff in order to document the old tradition.
